The Vemuram Spiritone – two drives in one!
The Vemuram Spiritone is a versatile, medium-gain overdrive born out of a collaboration between Vemuram and renowned guitarist Char.
Inspired by Char’s longtime favorite drives—including the Klon Centaur, the preamp of the Roland CE-1, and the Watkins Copicat—the Spiritone offers a rich palette of nuanced tones. Vemuram analyzed multiple Klon Centaurs to capture this circuit's coveted tonal magic!
Working closely with Char, the team tested and refined several prototypes in real-world live settings.
During the year-long development process, two standout prototypes emerged, each with its own distinct character.
Char found both voices essential for live performances, prompting Vemuram to integrate them into a single, dual-drive pedal.
The A-channel delivers a warm, vintage-inspired tone with smooth saturation, while the B-channel is punchier and more aggressive.
Fine-tuning options for added versatility.
Each channel features independent volume controls, allowing seamless switching between sounds with the dedicated footswitch.
The Spiritone also includes a Saturation trimmer, simulating power tube saturation for added warmth and responsiveness.
Whether you seek vintage warmth or modern bite, the Spiritone adapts effortlessly to your playing style and gear!
Premium craftsmanship and components.
Every component of the Spiritone reflects Vemuram’s commitment to excellence. The pedal features custom footswitches, jacks, and capacitors, along with carefully selected NOS components, ensuring outstanding tone and long-term reliability.
