The Benson Chimera delivers the unique, celebrated tone and "bread-and-butter" simplicity of the Monarch—now in a louder, 30-watt package designed for bigger stages.
True to Benson’s commitment to quality, the Chimera is fully hand-wired point-to-point on terminal strips, using premium components and custom transformers.
While the Monarch featured a British-American voicing switch, the Chimera replaces this with a variable bass control, giving players a smooth, versatile way to explore different tonal flavors.
The tone controls are both musical and forgiving—it’s nearly impossible to dial in a bad or harsh sound!
