Sabbadius Jimi Fuzz

Hendrix tones, Sabbadius nailed it, a very useable pedal.

I recently ordered a RMC 10 wah pedal from Electric Mojo, ended up getting a Marshall Studio Vintage 20 head and 212 cab, Fulltone Octafuzz, and a few other pedals like the TS808 45th anny, TC Electronic reverb, etc. Then got the Sabbadius Funky-Vibe 68 version, and got a second hand Axis Fuzz which all sounded pretty great to my ears. Then I saw a few videos on this Jimi Fuzz, the first larger version and then the smaller V2 version, and thought I'd give it a try, and glad I did. Ordered the Jimi Fuzz V2 from Electric Mojo and put it in my pedal board, and fiddled with the knobs a little and in no time I had some pretty fantastic fuzz tones, everything from a slight overdrive to the Spanish Castle Hendrix sound, to Foxy lady, even up to the mashed potatoes/velcro territory at full fuzz and full volume. It does a lot of the fuzz sounds in one pedal. I noticed the tone was a little more 'full' and round compared to my other Axis Fuzz style pedal, and not in a bad way. This pedal just has that mojo and vibe, that 'Hendrix' thing, and reacts very nicely to a decrease on your guitar volume knob, it doesn't quite get as 'clean' as my other Axis Fuzz, but it's pretty close, and for what it doesn't reach in cleans it makes up for in tone, and texture, and that 'thing' that makes you not want to stop playing or put the guitar down. The price is a little steep, but you have to consider this is a boutique hand made pedal from Argentina, small batches made and designed by a Hendrix fanatic, who uses quality components and great designs that result in pedals that feel and sound like the real deal they're designed to be as close as possible to. With all that in consideration, and the tone you get, the price is easier to swallow. I would recommend this fuzz if you're into Hendrix style and tone, or even for other fuzz genre music you're looking to get into. With this fuzz, a Funky-Vibe and a Marshall, you're in Hendrix/SRV/60's tone heaven.

This pedal is unreal! I have tried other pedals like Dunlop and other Fuzzes from other companies but no one comes close. This is a professional grade fuzz which I did not think was possible. All the Jimi records I listened to as a kid really come to life with this pedal! I know you took the time to create a lifelike pedal with amazing real deal tones. I love the responsiveness when you turn down the volume on your guitar the tones just pop out and it’s exhilarating to hear that’s how it was done on my favorite Jimi pieces. I will be using this pedal on my upcoming debut record with my band Mojo Brew. Thank you again for all the hard work you do and the amazing tones you create. Jimi Hendrix is my favorite guitar player and I have been listening to him on the original records from the 1960s ever since I was a little kid. So I know the tones and the amps and studio tricks they did. You are amazing and I thank you for helping me with my sound for my band. It means so much to me to be able to sound the way I want to. Yep it sounds as good as it does in all the demo videos. Amazing pedal, nice one Sabbadius. Jimi would be proud.
