Total Control Over Your Drive
The Empress Drive is an all-analog overdrive built for players who want to shape how their gain responds, not just how much of it there is. Instead of locking you into a single clipping style, it gives you control over the harmonic structure and feel of the drive itself.
At the core is a sweepable midrange EQ placed before the gain stage, letting you choose which frequencies push the circuit into saturation. This changes how the overdrive reacts, making it possible to dial in everything from tight, articulate breakup to thicker, more aggressive textures.
Shape Your Gain
A flexible boost section delivers up to +30 dB and can be placed before or after the drive. Used before the overdrive, it increases saturation and changes the feel of the circuit. Placed after, it acts as a clean volume boost or pushes your amp harder.
A clean mix control preserves clarity and low-end definition, while the post-drive bass and treble EQ provides precise tone shaping without upsetting the balance of your signal.
Tight, Dynamic, and Versatile
Higher gain often comes with unwanted noise, but the Empress Drive solves this with an adaptive noise gate that keeps things controlled without choking sustain or dynamics.
An analog clipping meter gives real-time visual feedback, making it easy to dial in gain staging and understand how hard you’re driving the circuit.
Compact and highly flexible, the Empress Drive combines boost, EQ, clean blend, and gain shaping into a single, expressive overdrive platform.
