The Module 4 is Drybell’s versatile take on Dan Armstrong’s classic 1970s Orange Squeezer.
The Module 4 serves up beloved Orange Squeezer tones, but adds several useful features making this classic circuit even better.
You get classic Squeezer tones, but infinite tweakability!
One essential improvement is an added Preamp attenuation / gain control.
Thanks to this control, the Module 4 can be used with various low or high output pickups, single coils or humbuckers.
Drybell also included a very useful Blend control, which sets the mix of dry / compressed signals.
This knob allows you to balance the amount of compression applied, while retaining pick attack and dynamics!
The Output control is a high headroom clean boost, useful for pushing your amp harder and adding more sustain to your tone.
To make it even more versatile, Drybell included a powerful Expander so you can easily remove any trace of hum from your tone.
You’ll be surprised how quiet things becomes!
