The legendary Binson Echorec gets resurrected!
The Catalinbread Echorec is named after the legendary Binson Echorec magnetic-drum echo machine.
Catalinbread took all the goodness of the original Echorec and squeezed it into a standard-sized pedal!
The Echorec truly defined Pink Floyd’s sound during the 1970s and was the driving force behind the band’s Pompeii performance.
The original Echorec was a thoughtfully designed machine with a beautifully musical output (the unit would instantly enhance your tone).
But, touring was always a sketchy proposition with the fragile vintage machines.
The Catalinbread Echorec delivers a digital replication of the original Echorec's four-head functionality.
Plus, the pedal's Delay Time knob gives you precise control over the delay (something that wasn't possible with the Binson machine)!
Precise control for creative freedom.
The up-front control knobs are not the only dynamic features of the Catalinbread Echorec.
The unit's discrete two-transistor preamp driver circuit adds oomph and lively intensity to your guitar tone.
Remove the rear panel and you'll find a True Bypass / Buffer switch and trim controls for fine-tuning the pedal's gain and modulation.
This all adds up to a robust structure with enough control to catalyze creativity without cramping your style!
