The Browne Protein’s beloved Blue side embarks on a solo mission!
Browne Amplification carefully extracted the Blue side of their famous Protein overdrive and gave it the ability to shine on its own!
Introducing the Carbon, inspired by a legendary circuit favored by the likes of John Mayer on the 'Continuum' album.
Browne painstakingly refined this circuit to address some of the issues commonly associated with the 1990s Marshall Bluesbreaker.
The new Carbon V2 introduces the High-Cut toggle.
With this High-Cut toggle, you can precisely tailor the high-frequency content, making it easier than ever to stack overdrives!
It also tames some of the chime and offers greater versatility when used alongside brighter amplifiers.
The center position mirrors the classic, unaltered Carbon.
Swiping left produces a subtle high-cut, while flipping it to the right produces a more pronounced reduction in the highest frequencies.
In addition to the Hi-Cut toggle, the Carbon V2 comes equipped with an adjustable startup state soft switch.
The Carbon also packs a massive amount of output, giving you the ability to turn the drive way down and use it as a clean boost.
This is the same beloved Carbon Overdrive, only enhanced!
