Vintage CE-1 Chorus and Vibrato, Studio Quality
The Retro-Sonic Chorus captures the lush modulation and pitch shifting vibrato of the legendary CE-1 in a refined and expanded format.
Built around an MN3007 BBD and designed with the character of the original ensemble effect in mind, it offers a wide palette of analog chorus and vibrato tones with far greater control and flexibility.
The result is a rich, dimensional modulation pedal that recreates the iconic seventies sound with improved noise performance and modern reliability.
CE-1 Character and Versatility
The Chorus and Vibrato modes are selectable by footswitch, allowing you to maintain separate presets for each effect.
The Vibrato mode provides the swirling, Leslie like movement the original was loved for, while the Chorus mode delivers warm, dimensional modulation with exceptional clarity.
The Blend control, switchable buffer, and Hi/Lo preamp modes provide tools for precise rig integration and tone shaping.
Modern Features, Vintage Soul
While the pedal stays faithful to the original CE-1 sound, Retro-Sonic added important refinements such as stereo outputs, a speed indicator LED, and noise reduction circuitry for a cleaner signal.
The rugged housing and quality components ensure long term performance on stage or in the studio.
