Your ticket to octave-down fuzz tones, with a twist!
Originally based on the legendary Jordan Bosstone, the Hephaestus took a unique turn as Mythos sought to enhance its versatility.
What emerged was something unexpected and extraordinary.
The Bosstone circuit has now been infused with a new level of sonic exploration through the innovative WARNING knob.
Unlike traditional controls, this knob regulates the voltage entering the circuit, rather than volume or gain.
At full blast, the Hephaestus delivers vintage fuzz goodness.
However, as you dial back the WARNING knob, a magical transformation occurs.
Starting around 1 o'clock, a sub-octave effect appears, creating a captivating synth-like experience.
The precise response and interaction with your guitar and amp setup will vary, resulting in a truly unique analog adventure.
Further adjustments to the WARNING knob unleash even more octave-related surprises while simultaneously reducing the overall gain.
Beware, this little red fuzz box packs a sonic punch!
To ensure optimal integration with your setup, the pedal features an internal master volume control for adjusting the output level.
The Hephaestus is a catalyst for endless riff-writing sessions, prepare yourself for a world of weird, wacky, and fun musical adventures!
