Classic Power Boost reissue with added versatility
The Manlay Sound Pro Boost is a handcrafted reissue of the legendary Colorsound Power Boost, later known as the Overdriver, used by icons like David Gilmour, Jeff Beck and Marc Bolan. This versatile pedal delivers plenty of clean output for volume boosting or cranking your amp’s valves, plus it can be pushed into a powerful distortion with rich harmonic character.
Manlay Sound’s version adds a master volume control so the original gain knob can be used as a true gain control at any output level. Built with an 18V headroom-rich circuit (also compatible with 9V), point-to-point hand wiring, silicon transistors and quality components, the Pro Boost provides a distinctive quacky, raspy drive that cleans up nicely with your guitar’s volume knob.
