Stone Deaf's nod to the beloved original PDF-1 distortion!

The limited edition PDF-1X combines elements of the original PDF- 1 with updates from the PDF-2.

The PDF-1X takes the best of both units and combines them for a set and forget pedalboard staple that brings life to bland amps!

The PDF-1X is Stone Deaf’s most versatile offering: combining boost, cut, Parametric EQ, Distortion, Overdrive and Fuzz tones.

It will also work on bass, synth or other instruments should you wish to experiment.


Combines elements from the original PDF-1 and its successor, the PDF-2.

A volume knob was added to the PDF-1X, something the original PDF-1 and PDF-2 lacked.

To accommodate for this new knob, Stone Deaf tucked away the gain knob to an internal trim pot (which is now a set and forget feature).

The volume knob opens up a variety of tonal options on both channels: drive clean amps into overdrive or manage tones at lower levels.

The soft clipping circuit is set to PDF-1 territory (use the internal gain trim pot to get PDF-2 gain).
