Highly recommended for a fat, high-gain, searing lead sound.

The Pete Cornish P2 is perfect for solos and heavy rock rhythm work and has been used prominently by David Gilmour and Paul McCartney.

Its full, bright sound cuts through the mix effortlessly.

The recipient of the Editor's Pick Award from Guitar Player Magazine, the P2 received the following review:

"The PETE CORNISH P-2 delivers extremely fat, smooth, and harmonically rich distortion tones, ranging from a relatively mellow crunch to searing high-gain sustain. The pedal is also extraordinarily responsive to playing dynamics, cleans up nicely with even slight guitar volume adjustments, and it provides nearly uncanny single-note definition within chords. Finally, it can crank out insane amounts of gain. Astonishing! Extremely fat tone, quiet, great dynamics, infinite sustain, exceptional chord definition".

Features Pete Cornish's acclaimed High Impedance, Unity Gain, Class A, Buffer Preamp.

The P2's buffer eliminates any negative effects caused by long cable runs.

Pete Cornish pedals also have superior RFI rejecting capability (eliminating radio interference problems).

The fixed High Impedance load presented to your guitar's pickups allows them to operate at their best.

The Unity Gain Buffer also prevents any "Ghost Distortion" in Bypass Mode.

Super responsive Tone knob.

The P2's Tone knob has been designed to provide an attenuation of 14dB at 3KHz when set fully Counter Clockwise.

When the tone control is set fully Clockwise, it provides the maximum Harmonic Content to the signal.

Settings in-between Clockwise and Counter Clockwise will provide varying amounts of high frequency attenuation.

The tone control features fully passive frequency attenuating components that do not cause unnecessary phase shift or uncontrolled mid range problems.
