There are few sounds as satisfying than that of a syrupy slide guitar tone.
Achieving that tone relies on a delicate balance of plucky attack and sonorous sustain.
If you really want to call up those creamy, dreamy slide sounds, stacking compressors is the way to go!
Daisy-chaining a pair of outboard compressors together is an old studio trick made famous by Lowell George of Little Feat.
Lowell George achieved his legendary, endlessly sustaining slide sound by recording straight into the desk via first one Urei 1176 and then another.
The SlideRIG Compact Deluxe MK2 brings this classic studio trick to your pedalboard with an exacting recreation of this timeless tone.
The pedal includes a Dry blend knob to fold the compressed signal under the uncompressed signal to retain your dynamics while adding punch and weight.
To give you even more control, the SlideRIG Compact Deluxe MK2 includes an Attack/Release knob, so the amount of squash is in your hands!
A must-have effect for slide players, the SlideRIG is equally comfortable with conventional guitar setups, offering thick, fat sustain with perfect clarity.
You no longer need to be a studio technician to dial in killer dual-compressor tones!
