The JAM team, along with Dan and Mick from That Pedal Show, set out to design the perfect Harmonic Tremolo.
Enter the Harmonious Monk, an all-analog tremolo pedal with both Amplitude and Harmonic modes.
Two selectable LFOs are also available for varying levels of intensity. Plenty of tweaking fun to be had here!
Harmonic tremolo is beloved for its unique modulation character: a little bit phase-y and a little bit pulsing.
It can add a complete, enveloping texture over your whole guitar tone (or sit more subtly as a fantastic widening effect)!
The Subtle setting on the pedal's Amplitude mode offers a plethora of vintage-inspired tremolo tones.
The Intense setting brings the chop: stuttering, staccato pulses that add drama and rhythm to your music!
Depth and Mix controls were added, allowing you to perfectly dial in the tremolo into your signal.
A footswitch gives you access to two tremolo speeds instantly and internal trimmers let you shape the EQ to your liking.
The Harmonious Monk covers a huge amount of sonic ground and it will inspire you towards a new palette of sounds and textures.
1. Tap tempo.
2. Ramp function: holding the Tap switch will ramp to a second speed.
3. A second mode of operation (Legacy mode) retains and expands on the mk1’s functionality.
4. New LFO waveform added (Reverse Sawtooth).
5. Kill Dry function.
6. New internal trimmer adjusts input gain to optimise the pedal for use with any instrument you might want to throw at it!
7. You can now specify the startup state of the mk.2, to ON or OFF upon receiving power!
