The Hudson Broadcast is a transformer-coupled, discrete Class-A germanium preamp that pays homage to the iconic 1960s RCA Broadcast consoles.
The Broadcast offers a versatile range of tones, from a pristine clean boost to a heavier, distorted sound with a fuzzy, fried texture.
Its dynamic nature allows it to respond to your playing nuances and pick attack, delivering a wide range of overdriven and distorted tones when pushed.
The pedal features a convenient Gain Switch with Low and High modes.
In Low mode, the Broadcast provides ample headroom and retains the coloration from its germanium circuit and transformer, while staying relatively clean.
Switching to High mode takes the pedal into overdrive, distortion, and fuzz territory, with a slightly tighter low end.
• Level : Adjusts the overall volume of the pedal.
• Gain Switch : Selects between low, medium, and high gain modes.
• Gain Trim : Controls the level of gain in the Broadcast. Higher settings gently roll off the high-end of the signal.
• Low Cut : Attenuates the low-end frequencies of the Broadcast. This control interacts with the gain control.
