The Buffer You Have Always Wanted!

The Lift MKII draws inspiration from the beloved Pettyjohn PreDrive and brings its most useful features to a pedalboard-friendly enclosure.

The Lift MKII operates as an always-on preamp pedal (being either in Buffer mode or Boost mode, switchable via the new soft touch footswitch).

The Buffer is a truly state-of-the-art circuit, featuring a single Discrete Opamp powered by Pettyjohn's proprietary dual-rail power supply.

This gives the Lift MKII a huge amount of headroom!

The discrete Opamp gently lifts the tonal quality without unwanted color: unlocking every nuance of your guitars tone with a musical, 3D depth!

A Better Boost!

The Boost mode unlocks loads of clean gain with up to a whopping 30dB of gain off of a standard 9V adapter!

This industry leading headroom gives the Lift MKII the cleanest gain on the market.

It also means every nuance of your guitar and playing gets preserved with absolute fidelity!

Return Of The Harmonic Drive.

The PreDrive's beloved Harmonic Drive circuit was added to the Pettyjohn Lift MK2.

This circuit uses a unique combo of MOSFET and NOS D9E germanium diodes.

These give the pedal a sweet, natural compression and an harmonically rich, organic growl.

When engaged, the Harmonic Drive circuit can be blended into the Boost mode via the Drive mini pot: going from pristine cleans to all-out overdrive!
