The Atom packs the green side of the famed Browne Protein as a stand-alone pedal.
While this circuit originated from the classic Nobels ODR1, the Atom is a unique overdrive all on its own.
Browne Amplification lowered the gain to make it useable throughout the entire sweep and tweaked the EQ section.
The result is a pedal that feels like an overdriven tube amp.
The Atom can make a thin or quiet amp truly feel like it’s pushing some air!
This is done via the right mix of low mids and mids, as well as by adding the little bit of sag that makes loud tubes amps so enjoyable.
