Hamstead Soundworks was born out of the fusion of two obsessions: one for tone, and one for electronic design. Electronic design and engineering at Hamstead is led by Peter Hamstead. Peter brings a fresh approach to amps and pedals, having a background in avionics and radar, as well as many years in electronic design and development. Some of Peter’s most popular creations include the Odyssey and Subspace overdrive pedals. Hamstead Soundworks products are built in the UK. Quality and precision is at the core of every Hamstead amp and pedal.
