Suhr Badger 18 MKII Amplifier Head.
The Suhr Badger 18 is a single channel amp that dynamically interacts with your guitar’s volume control and responds to your playing.
The Badger has elements of Vox and lower wattage Marshall amps, but it doesn't quite sound like any of the classic vintage British amps.
It has its very own tonality with a broad range of sounds covering a wide spectrum of clean to overdriven tones.
The cathode biased power section lends itself to dynamic, spongey tones and requires no bias adjustment when replacing power tubes.
Power Scaling emulates the tonal response of a high wattage amp on 10, at manageable volumes.
Power controls the voltage that feeds the output section and in turn, the wattage: you can easily scale down to 1 watt without losing tone & feel.
Changes to the Badger line include:
- A new preamp section featuring a footswitchable high-voltage cascaded MOSFET Boost
- This offers a broader range of cleaner and overdriven tones with increased dynamic range, transparency and response.
- Updated Power Scaling that improves upon previous version giving it a more natural tone and feel at lower volumes.
- Speaker Output Impedance Selector (4Ω, 8Ω & 16Ω).
- Standby Switch.
- 100% All Tube Series Effects Loop.
- Updated look with Solid Aluminium Bead Blasted Script Suhr Logo, Silver piping, New Textured Graphite tolex , and Black Anodized Aluminum Control Panel.
