A 50W amp that lives at the intersection of sweet sounds, convenience and reliability!

The Amp combines a tube preamp with a solid-state power section.

It features a 12AX7 preamp tube running at a high voltage that generates just a little bit of grit when you crank the volume.

The other side of the circuit is a class-D, solid-state power amp that offers between 25 and 100 watts of power (depending on the impedance of your cabinet).

The Volume knob brings in the warmth, while the Master control is like a fader on a hi-fi stereo system (it makes things louder without coloring your tone).

Imagine the pristine clarity in Jerry Garcia’s early-1970s tone (when he was using a Fender Twin and a McIntosh power amp) and you’ll start to get the idea of the clean sounds The Amp can deliver!

Along with tube EQ, there is on-board reverb and tremolo effects so that The Amp can be used as a grab and go amplifier.

There are several ways you can put The Amp to work.

It can function as a standard head, as a tube preamp somewhere in your pedal chain, as a DI amp that can feed a DAW, or even as a practice amp through your headphones.

At 2.5 lbs, and with so many different uses, The Amp may be your new best friend!

The perfect practice amp!

The Amp has an integrated headphone amplifier which sounds identical to the output from a speaker.

This is perfect for practice, auditioning pedals, or for those times when noise is not appropriate.

The Amp can operate with no speaker attached so it can live on a pedalboard and go wherever the pedals go.

Speaking of travel, The Amp has a universal IEC power input.

No matter where it is on Earth, it can be plugged into a wall socket and used with no need for additional power accessories.

How about a compact studio quality tube preamp?

The internal XLR output delivers a balanced line level output.

There is no modeling or simulation involved, no menus or presets to give option anxiety.

Use The Amp's tube preamp as the front end for a modeling system, recording setup, or for playing direct on stage and get great tones!

Add it to your pedalboard!

The Amp features a "pedal level" output where it can be used as the front end of a pedal board or as an amp like effect on the back end of a pedal board.

Using The Amp in front of a pedal chain will add harmonics and tube musicality to the entire signal chain.

Using The Amp further down the signal chain creates unique tonal possibilities.

It plays well with pedals, and it can add extra EQ or reverb to an existing amplifier.

The Amp can easily drive the input of an amplifier as an extra tube gain stage.

After my main amp broke down I was in the market for something new. I had read a bunch of favourable reviews of this little amp around tone and features, but could not find any explanations or examples of real world volume output. My big question was... “is it loud...
